Access rules and limitations
- Kerbside collection only, from your regular bin collection point
- Items must be out by 7am on the collection day, but not put out the day before
- Only items that were booked and paid for will be collected, no extras
- Crews do not enter properties to help move items, including for residents on the assisted collection list
- Upholstered furniture with foam padding, such as sofas and armchairs, is collected separately on the same day using a dedicated vehicle under POPs regulations
If you cannot move the items yourself: Residents on the council's assisted collection list still have items collected from the kerbside only, crews cannot enter homes to help move items even for assisted collections
Kerbside-only rules are the norm across the UK; crews are not insured to enter your home. If nobody can get your items outside, see your options when you can't lift it.

- Large or DIY items, maximum 3: £24 for the first item plus £6 per additional item
- Exception items such as boilers, water tanks or cast iron baths, maximum 1: £34
- Mixed collections of small and large items: from £22 for up to 2 small and 2 large items
- Payment is required online at the time of booking
