  • Asbestos and other hazardous waste
  • Bathroom suites, sinks and shower trays or screens
  • Doors and windows
  • Fencing and sheds
  • Fluorescent lighting tubes and gas bottles
  • Grand pianos
  • Grass or garden cuttings, soil and rubble
  • Kitchen units, worktops and laminate flooring
  • Ride-on lawn mowers, mobility scooters and sun beds
  • Liquids, paint and tyres

Access rules and limitations

  • Maximum 12 items per collection
  • Cannot collect from business properties
  • No internal or garage collections; items must be at ground level
  • Maximum three fridges or freezers per property annually
  • Collections between 7am and 5pm
  • Each item must be safely liftable and loadable by two average people
