- Kerbside collection only, items must be left at the front of the property
- Items must be out by 7am on collection day
- Each item must be under 2 metres long and liftable by two people
- Contractors cannot currently collect from inside the home or the back garden
- No refunds if items are not left out as arranged
- Service is for householders only, not businesses
If you cannot move the items yourself: Dover District Council operates a general assisted collection service for residents who cannot present items at the boundary of their property due to injury or a medical condition; this is documented for bin collections and it is not confirmed whether it explicitly covers bulky item bookings
Kerbside-only rules are the norm across the UK; crews are not insured to enter your home. If nobody can get your items outside, see your options when you can't lift it.
