- Maximum item size of six feet in height or width
- Sofas must not be wet; cover with plastic sheeting if rain is forecast
- The council does not dismantle furniture
- Maximum 12 items per booking, with only one fridge or freezer per collection
If you cannot move the items yourself: A separate assisted bin collection scheme exists for residents in poor health, with a mobility issue or disability, who are elderly, or who have no one else at the property able to put bins out; crews collect from and return to an agreed point. It is confirmed for general waste, recycling, food and garden waste bins; not confirmed whether it extends to bulky waste bookings specifically.
