Access rules and limitations
- Up to five separate items, or up to ten bin bags of household refuse and/or garden waste, per booking
- Items must be easily accessible with street access by 6.30am on collection day
- Council cannot enter properties, garages, sheds or back gardens, and cannot carry items up or down stairs
- Damaged upholstered items containing foam or leather must be taped, wrapped or bagged
Kerbside-only rules are the norm across the UK; crews are not insured to enter your home. If nobody can get your items outside, see your options when you can't lift it.
